Maria Battle, Chair of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has taken part in her first monthly radio show at Hospital Radio Glamorgan on Thursday 26 March.
The show took place on Thursday between 10am-12pm and Maria discussed a variety of topics with radio presenter and crime writer Robert Darke, who said, “I really enjoyed chatting with Maria and feel this new monthly feature ‘The Chair in the Chair’ will be of genuine interest to listening patients.”
Clare Sinclair, Chair of Hospital Radio Glamorgan said ‘We are very grateful to Maria to commiting to this new monthly feature with us. Maria’s contribution is a great addition to the health promotion broadcasting we do within many of our programmes’.
Robert’s show entitled ‘Books and Music’ goes out every Thursday morning and features a wide variety of music along with a regular look at the bestselling books chart, book reviews, readers recommendations and even the odd poem. Robert’s debut novel, set in Cardiff, is called ‘The Accidental Courier’ and is available on Amazon, or can be ordered from any good bookshop.
