Radio Glamorgan will be celebrating Volunteers Week between 1-7 June. It is a national campaign to acknowledge and give a thank you to all volunteers throughout the UK. Volunteers of the Cardiff & Vale University Hospital Health Board will be visiting to talk to us about their volunteering experience and encouraging others to consider becoming involved in the myriad of volunteering opportunities within the hospital.
As a charity Radio Glamorgan relies on the dedication and commitment of its many volunteers – this includes not just those that present the shows but the volunteers who do all the behind the scenes work in ensuring the broadcasting service is entertaining and gives support to patients and their family at a difficult time.
