It was back in January 2020 when students from the University of South Wales (USW) studying Sports Journalism presented their first ever show on Radio Glamorgan (RG).
It marked the start of a partnership which would give those enrolled in the course the opportunity to produce and present a radio show, whilst building up industry knowledge and skills, assisting towards their final degree and their future career.
As the 2021/22 football season kicks off, starting this Friday (13th) the show is being extended from 30 minutes to a full hour offering a weekly round-up of topical news, chat and interviews from the world of sport.
Anchored by senior lecturer at the USW Julie Kissick, the programme will touch on Football, Rugby, Cricket, Ice Hockey, Athletics and everything else in between
You can hear the programme on a Friday evenings at 6pm (Repeated on Saturday mornings at 9am) on Radio Glamorgan.
