On Sunday 26th September 2021, Sarah and Brandon Griffiths along with 15 others will embark on a 20 mile pony trek across the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park for the Make-a-wish foundation.
Brandon came up with the idea of a sponsored trek as a way of giving something back to this incredible charity that helped support him through his illness.
Make-a-wish granted Brandon his dream of going to stay in the Scottish Highlands for a week. He lost a lot of his childhood to his illness and this really gave him and his family the chance of making lifelong memories.
Brandon hopes to raise as much money as possible to help grant other children like him, their dreams.
The trek will begin at the Grange Pony Trekking Centre in Capel-Y-Fin, aiming to arrive in Hay on Wye at 1pm. If you’re in the area or passing through, they’d love to see you.
