Velindre Cancer Centre, also known as the Hospital of Hope, has been providing specialist supportive care and treatment for cancer patients in Wales for over 60 years.
Thanks to the support of Velindre Cancer Charity, The Hospital of Hope funds ground breaking research and clinical trials. More people than ever are living with cancer and survival rates have doubled in the last 40 years through better treatments and earlier detection.
Donations to Velindre are used to fund things over and above those provided by the NHS, so your fundraising really does make a huge difference to patients and their families. It allows us to fund our research programmes, specialist nurses, support services and therapies. We aim to provide the best care, when people need us most.
