Lleswyl 2024: Top musical talent, transported from the festival field to your front room!
The event is to be live-streamed by Daring to Dream from 7pm on Friday 23rd February…
The charity will broadcast world-class musicians into homes, hospital wards and communal spaces around Wales, to create the ultimate at-home festival experience. They’ve secured bands who are regulars on the festival circuit – Green Man, Womad, Glastonbury and now Lleswyl!
No worries about bad weather, poor catering, or the state of the toilets at Lleswyl! That’s an important feature of the festival, it’s free, fun, accessible to all.
Lleswyl is a live-streamed event, in recognition that 1.2 million adults living in Wales are grappling daily with a physical illness. Acute and chronic conditions, disability, or loneliness, prevent people from accessing many social experiences, which Daring to Dream wants to change.
It does not take much to create social experiences that work for everyone and draw people together. The festival concept centres around watch parties and are a model for inclusive socialising. Lleswyl is just the beginning, it aims to kickstart regular social occasions to offer emotional support for those who are isolated and lonely through chronic illness or disability.
The festival is an opportunity to do this with fantastic music, hosted live by Siân Lloyd, Jason Harrold, and Tumi Williams (It’s also going to be BSL interpreted also).
To access the event all you need to do is register tap here, then get your friends over and plan your party.
