To round off the Platinum Jubilee weekend on Sunday, we will be broadcasting a tribute to Radio Glamorgan’s very own King.
Karlo King joined Radio Glamorgan (RG) in 1978 and holds the distinction of being our longest serving volunteer, having been involved for 41 years right up until his passing in December 2019.
He was a much loved, dedicated & enthusiastic individual who had a real passion for sharing his love and knowledge of music.
Simon Field will present what is set to be an emotional tribute, joined by Karlos two children Carlene and Daniel and former work colleague Mark Gorman, who will all share their memories of Karlo alongside some of those who volunteered alongside him at RG too.
