One of our newest volunteers, Sam Rees is permanently joining the on air team at Radio Glamorgan from Saturday 13th August.
After completing his training, doing a bit of cover shows here and there, he will be taking the reins of Weekend Breakfast (8-10am) complimenting the already popular GMRG presented by Luke Davies (10-12noon).
Joining the team Sam said
“I’m buzzing to get started, it’s going to be a great start to Saturdays and Sundays on the award winning Radio Glamorgan. Expect lots of fun and great tunes!”
The appointment of Sam to weekends does mean a few changes.
The repeat of the Sport Show presented by Julie Kissick (Heard first at Friday 6pm) moves to the earlier time of 7am on a Saturday. The local Instrumental group Harmoni Cymru leave the weekend schedule altogether, but they still remain at 5am during the week ahead of RG breakfast.
