Let us introduce Wayne!
He’s been in training for a couple of months and now he’s going solo.
In Wayne’s words,
“I have loved every second of my time with Hospital Radio Glamorgan so far, everyone is friendly and supportive, and already, I feel welcomed in and part of the team. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and presenting a show on a Wednesday afternoon alongside getting involved with what goes on behind the scenes too”
Jamie Pritchard, Chairman of Hospital Radio Glamorgan said,
“Wayne’s enthusiasm is second-to-none, and having passed his training, it’s a pleasure to welcome him to the on-air team. I know he’ll do a great job with his brand new show and helping raise the profile of our station with awareness days and fundraising events too”
On being asked why he wanted to join, Wayne added,
“I wanted to do something that is worthwhile, whilst also being a bit of a personal challenge. Some may say this was a midlife crisis, maybe so, but it’s a lot cheaper than buying a Porsche!”
So what can you expect on a Wednesday 4-6pm?
“Any genre, any decade, anything goes! But, there will also be some work to do too. It’s A Lyrical Quiz, along with Wayne’s Chain where three songs have a link, along with Facts you didn’t know you needed to know, and the Top 5 at 5, a look back at the Top 5 from this week in a bygone Year”
