To mark World Diabetes Day on November 14, joining millions of people around the world to raise awareness of diabetes, Professor Susan Wong popped into see Roger Thomas and explain the work of the Diabetes Research Group.
The Group – led by Professor Wong and Professor Colin Dayan, research Type 1 diabetes. Professor Wong shared some of their ongoing initiatives, results and successes in their research and described some of the progress into the causes of Type 1 diabetes and the development of immunotherapy to prevent and treat it.
